Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest in a speculative notice for the Transportation and Processing of Mechanical Sweeper and Gully Sucking Waste.Amgen Cymru provides a wide range of waste management services to the residents and businesses of Rhondda Cynon Taf and is the trading name of Cynon Valley Waste Disposal Company Ltd. It is the Local Authority Waste Disposal Company (LAWDaC), wholly owned by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. Amgen Cymru is located at Bryn Pica, Llwydcoed, Aberdare, CF44 0BX.The waste is mechanical sweeper and gully sucking waste collected by the authority through its Street Cleansing operations.For indicative purposes, tonnage is currently approximately 1,200 tonnes per annum.Amgen Cymru cannot guarantee the tonnage or composition of the wasteAmgen Cymru are looking for a contractor to collect the dewatered sweepings from its site at Bryn Pica, Aberdare and process the material with a view to diverting all recyclable elements from landfill disposal.Consideration and allowances should be made for future changes in waste arisings and its composition.
