Arts Council England is seeking a research supplier to help us understand and articulate if and how a strong art and cultural offer within a place can impact on its ability to attract and retain individuals or businesses and help shape its identity. The overarching objective of the research is to examine the extent to which art and culture within a place influences - through direct and indirect impacts, tangible and intangible - the economy and society of that place. Specifically, the research needs to address whether a place which has a strong art and cultural offer: Attracts more individuals to live. Attracts more individuals to work. Attracts more organisations to do business; both in terms of their location and activity.
