Cardiff Council is the host authority and is responsible for the service delivery of The Wales Interpretation and Translation Service, which provides linguistic professionals to the public sector, in over 140 languages, 24/7 365 days a year, to currently 40 organisations throughout Wales.WITS collaborates with multi-sector public organisations ranging from Welsh Government organisations, NHS Health Board, Local Authorities, Police Forces and Housing Associations with varying requirements.WITS manages Interpreter and translator support in a variety of methods:- Pre-booked Face to Face- Pre booked Video- Pre-booked Telephone- Document Translation- Braille- On demand Telephone- On demand Video
