Tier 2 Dermatology – Triage, Assessment and Treatment.

Chorley and South Ribble and Greater Preston CCGs commission health services for around 385 000 residents and are inviting expressions of interest from providers to deliver a Tier 2 Dermatology Service which will incorporate triage, assessment and treatment to be based in a minimum of two sites within each of the CCG areas. This will serve as an alternative to hospital based treatment for the majority of patients being referred by GPs for dermatology services. The service will offer local, accessible, high quality care that would allow for appropriate signposting and in most cases treatment of dermatological conditions. The service will integrate with local GPs, Acute Specialist Services and local/specialist skin cancer MDTs and should also have full responsibility for all operational management, administrative, staffing and training requirements and all associated costs.In summary we wish to procure the following:— Triage of all dermatology referrals— A clinically led Dermatology service which would provide the assessment, treatment, access to diagnostics and onward referral when required.— The service should be based at a location or locations accessible to the population of Chorley, South Ribble and Greater Preston and operated at times convenient to patients e.g. During working hours, evening or weekend sessions.The successful provider will be required to sign the relevant national NHS contract for the service, accepting all terms and conditions.Candidates wishing to be considered must register their expression of interest & provide additional procurement-specific information (by completing a PQQ) through the portal as follows: i) Candidates should register on the portal at https://cmcsu.bravosolution.co.uk (registration and use of the website is free of charge). ii) Once registered, candidates must express interest by a) logging-in to the CMCSU e-Tendering portal, b) selecting response to advert and PQQ, c) select Open Access PQQ, d) search for and access listing related to this contract and view details, e) click on Express Interest linkiii) Once you have expressed interest, access the My PQQs page where you can download documentation (if required) and construct your reply as instructed.
