Title Supply of electrochemical metal mine water pilot treatment system at Cwm RheidolDescription of the goods or services requiredNatural Resources Wales (NRW) is the largest Welsh Government Sponsored Body and is responsible for making sure that the environment and natural resources of Wales are sustainably maintained, sustainably enhanced and sustainably used, now and in the future.Geoscience and the Metal Mine teams require a pilot trial to demonstrate treatment of the Adit 6 and 9 discharges at Cwm Rheidol. These discharges are captured in pipes and transferred down the steep valley slopes before entering the River Rheidol via an old and ineffective filter bed system. This is the location for the pilot treatment trials and is property owned by Statkraft Energy Ltd.
