Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified companies to tender for the contract to erect, maintain and dismantle the festive lighting in Wrexham town centre. The contract will be awarded for a period of three years, with an option to extend for a further two years. At present, lights are erected in 84 locations, some of which include multiple decorations. They are fed from 30 dedicated supply points.Companies successful past the initial pre qualification stage of the procurement exercise and invited to tender will be invited to view the locations and the storage area in order to gain a full appreciation of the scope of the work and any traffic management issues. They will also be supplied with a list of the lights, a plan showing the location of lights and supply points and photographs of the installations.
