Derbyshire County Council is seeking a single provider to support the Derbyshire and Derby Tobacco Control Strategic Board (DDTCSB) to influence change through a range of engagement activity and marketing campaigns for tobacco control across Derbyshire and Derby City. Derbyshire County Council will act as the lead commissioner for the project and is looking to commission a marketing and communications agency to support achievement of the following aims: • Increase the number of people quitting smoking and encourage more people to use local stop smoking services to try and quit. • Create a smokefree generation by increasing the number of children and young people who never smoke. • Eliminate inequalities in smoking rates and smoking related illness. The provider will: • Help to create an identifiable brand for our tobacco control work, building upon the logo and strapline already designed. • Develop and deliver four campaigns per annum, one general and three targeted. • Develop strong visuals for Stop Smoking campaigns and engagement activities. • Carry out robust evaluations of all activities on how initiatives are contributing to behaviour change in residents quitting smoking to achieve smokefree status by 2030. Contract Term 12 Months. Contract commencement date December 2024 or earlier.
