Descriptions
The Academic Legal Services team within Research and Enterprise at the University of Reading provides expert advice and support to staff and students on all aspects of Intellectual Property management. Some of the activities undertaken include:Identification evaluation and protection of IP;Assessment of the commercial value of IP;Management of the University portfolio;Help for individuals to identify and obtain sources of funding for development work;Commercial exploitation of IP through licensing and spin out companies;Provision of advice on IP queries;Training on IP related topics;Forming partnerships with companies for the exploitation of IP.We use external patent and trademark attorneys search services and patent and trademark renewal services to support our work. The University of Reading Research and Enterprise is wishing to appoint companies in the following areas for up to 4 years subject to a satisfactory annual review:Lot 1 Patent Agents.Lot 2 Patent Renewals.Lot 3 Trademarks.Lot 4 Searching and Information Services.
