Portsmouth City Council (“the Authority”) has awarded a contract for the construction and refurbishment works at the D-Day Museum located on Clarence Esplanade, Southsea, Hampshire PO5 3NT.The main headings under which the construction / refurbishment works are required are:— structural alterations,— forming extension (including substructure, external walling, roofing and drainage works),— internal partitions,— mechanical and electrical installations,— fittings and furnishes,— floors, walls / ceiling finishes,— general repairs / improvements to the building fabric.The Authority awarded the contract on the 2.5.2017 with a subsequent commencement date on site of 29.5.2017 with a planned completion date of 10.11.2017.
