The Council are tendering around 66 individual contracts for transport of school pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN). Individual contracts will be awarded to a single supplier only.All drivers proposed to undertake any of the contracted requirements must be fully licensed, insured, and will be required to provide evidence of valid vehicle/driver documentation which includes vehicle MOT, road tax and driving licence.Some contracts require an escort. Escorts must be arranged by the tenderer.All drivers and any escorts must be PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) registered and approved.
