Descriptions
This dynamic purchasing system (DPS) will issue tenders for passenger transport contracts. This will include transport throughout West Berkshire and beyond, to meet the Council’s needs including transport for Education and Social Care purposes. This includes: •Home to school transport, both mainstream and special educational needs;•Adult and child social care transport, including respite trips.The contracted transport is organised across a number of routes: there are over 120 routes which are required to operate on school days only (190 days per year) and; a further ~30 routes which are required for anything between 1 day and 250 days per year.
