Descriptions

The service comprises the transportation of children with special educational needs between home and school or college. The transportation of adults with assessed social care needs to and from day and leisure opportunities and other ad hoc requirements by the Council.The Contract will commence on 1.9.2015 and run until 31.8.2018. There is an option to extend the Contract for a further 12 months at the end of this period. The Contract shall operate as a Dynamic Pruchasing System (DPS) featuring a number of providers to cover the service requirements over the Contract period. Additional contractors can be added to the DPS during the course of the Contract.
