Descriptions
A renewal framework for the provision of services for the treatment and processing of organic waste. The organic waste streams are food waste, garden waste and co-mingled food and garden waste.Service providers are required to receive organic waste, treat, reprocess and recycle it.There shall be two service models available for use by the councils as follows: -Model A — where councils deliver materials to the Service Provider's nominated facilities for treatment.Model B — where councils deliver materials to its (Council) own, the Service Provider's, and/or a third party's Reception Point where it shall be collected by the Service Provider(s) for onward haulage for treatment at the Service Provider's Treatment Facility.
