The following 6 planting jobs have been specified: Job 1 (Tom a Chor/Compartment 196)- approximately 33,000 bare root Scots pine to be planted on hinge mounds at 2700 mounds per hectare. HINGE MOUNDING COMPLETED OCTOBER 2021. Job 2 (Carn Meilich/Compartment 204)- approximately 30,500 bare root Scots pine to be planted on hinge mounds at 2700 mounds per hectare. HINGE MOUNDING COMPLETED OCTOBER 2021. Job 3 (Auchindoun/Compartment 338)- (BEAT UP OF SITKA SPRUCE) approximately 8,500 bare root Sitka spruce to be planted on hinge mounds (original stocking density 2700 mounds per hectare). Planting specification approximately 10 hectares/32% beat up. Original planting completed spring 2022. HINGE MOUNDING COMPLETED OCTOBER 2021. Job 4 (Clashwood/Compartment 72)- (BEAT UP OF SITKA SPRUCE/SCOTS PINE) approximately 3,500 bare root Sitka spruce to be planted on hinge mounds (original stocking density 2700 mounds per hectare). Planting specification approximately 9 hectares/15% beat up. Original planting completed winter 2021. HINGE MOUNDING COMPLETED OCTOBER 2020. Job 5 (Cairn Daimh/Compartment 186)- (BEAT UP OF SCOTS PINE) approximately 9,500 bare root Sitka spruce to be planted on hinge mounds (original stocking density 2700 mounds per hectare). Planting specification approximately 7 hectares/52% beat up. Original planting completed spring 2022. HINGE MOUNDING COMPLETED OCTOBER 2021. Job 6 (Carn na Dalach/Compartment 178)- approximately 20,000 bare root Scots pine to be planted on hinge mounds at 2700 mounds per hectare. HINGE MOUNDING COMPLETED JUNE 2019. Work to be carried out March 2023 - April 2023 or may be called off earlier (weather permitting).
