Trent and Dove Housing Limited are looking to appoint several sup[pliers to a Framework agreement covering Cyclical Painting and Associated Works:Clean out all gutters, down pipes and gullies of silt and leaf fall. All joints, clips and alignment of runs to be checked and assessed for effective life over the following five years. Ensure water test on completion.— Lift gulley gratings and manholes, clear out and jet through to ensure free from blockages and leave free flowing.— Brush, scrape, wire brush and wash down all painted surfaces of external walls to remove grime soot or flaking paint from walls and surfaces prior to any preparation or painting.— Remove all existing or new paint spots and splashes to external surfaces including brickwork and clean off graffiti, ivy, moss and lichen growth etc.— Rake out by hand tools only and re-point all defective and open areas of brick mortar joints to external walls, garden walls, etc.— Carry out concrete repairs to balconies, cills, window and door frames building frames and beams and other external elements as appropriate.— Remove from external walls any extraneous cables and conduits no longer in use and ensure remaining cables are tidy and tied.— Repair, prepare and redecorate all previously or usually painted external masonry including rendered, pebbledashed or similar surfaces including walls, plinths, mouldings and chimney stacks etc. (specialist rendered products should be treated in accordance with instructions).— Clean down any stone decorative mouldings on the face of properties to remove staining and soot deposits, repair using suitable Toupret fillers, and apply suitable protective and decorative coatings to stonework.— Clean down any UPvC decorative mouldings, cladding, soffits, fascias etc. on the face of properties to remove staining and soot deposits, replacing/renewing damaged elements.— Repair, Prepare and paint all previously or usually painted external woodwork to include windows and frames, communal entrance doors, house and flat entrance doors, cupboard doors, external store doors and all door frames, external cladding, soffit boards and fascias, timber cladding etc.— Repair, Prepare and decorate all previously or usually external stained woodwork surfaces (including frames, doors, windows, garden fences, gates, railings, garage doors etc.)— Repair, Prepare and re-varnish any previously or usually varnished woodwork surfaces.— Repair, Prepare and decorate to previously painted tiled surfaces.— Repair, Prepare and redecorate all previously or usually painted metalwork to include cast iron rainwater goods, metal pipework, garden railings, handrails, external metal staircases, bollards, lamp standards, locks and latches etc.— Prepare and repaint any black bitumastic paint to external wall plinths.— Renew defective or missing mastic sealants to expansion joints, window and door frames etc. replacing any defective flexcell expansion material or similar.— Ease, adjust and overhaul all windows and entrance doors including those to communal internal areas, internal and external stores and service cupboards and leave in fully functioning working order.— Allow for window and door repairs and overhaul as described in the ‘Window overhaul’ section below.— Jet wash steps and other external surfaces as required to remove any mould or moss.— Renew individual badly damaged or missing fence panels (Renewal of complete fence runs not included).— Internal common parts — prepare and redecorate all previously or usually painted surfaces taking into regard the Fire rating required to various surfaces. To include walls ceilings, doors, frames, window frames, skirtings, architraves, handrails, bannisters etc.— Professionally clean or replace common parts floor coverings where advised.— Overhaul all paved, tarmacadam, or asphalted walkways, paths, balconies, drying areas etc including removal of moss and lichen.— Renew eroded car parking delineation lines in car parking aprons etc.
