Cadw (on behalf of The Welsh Ministers) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake work at Tretower Court Cottage and Whitecastle CottageAll necessary design, installation and checking that all newly supplied fixtures and fittings work to both cottagesBoth existing cottages have been identified by Cadw as requiring enhancement into luxury furnished cottages which can be ‘let’ to the general public as high quality self-catering holiday accommodation.Outline of Proposed RequirementsThe scope of requirements are expected to encompass (but not limited to)• interior design works including for replacement of door ironmongery• supply and installation of furniture and other fixtures and fittings including:o light fittings, HD TVs, DVD players, Broadband/WiFi,o tables, chairs, sofas, coat racks, pictures and other wall hangings,o cutlery, dinner services, glassware, kitchen utensils and equipment,o wardrobes, side tables, side lights, dressing tables, hairdryers, mirrors,o rugs, blinds, curtains and curtain poles, ironing boards and irons,o clothes airers, bedding and linen, towels, hand-towels etc)• Ensuring the fitted fixtures and fittings work function correctly before handover to The Client.The requirements are to be carried out concurrently at both Cottages.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
