1. Background:1.1. The University of Cambridge, Departments of the Clinical School and the Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre Cell Phenotyping Hub provide modern laboratory accommodation and state of art research facilities.1.2. Based on the Addenbrooke's Hospital Biomedical Campus and part of the University's School of Clinical Medicine, the BRC Cell Phenotyping Hub provide cytomics services to the School's research staff and is now initially housing equipment for a new Single Cell Analysis Clinical Core Facility (SCACCF), in the location known as the E6, embedded within the Addenbrooke's Hospital.2. Scope of Requirements:2.1. The School ‘Flow Cytometry Hub’ and SCACCF require 2 flow sorters to be housed in ‘E6 ’ to cover the needs of researchers for downstream genomic analysis, e.g. for Haematology, Immunology, Oncology, Stem Cells and other projects in the area of Clinical Translational Research and 1 state-of-the-art flow analyser capable of highly polychromatic analysis, all of which are more fully described in Section 3) of this document.
