The department has several state of the art spectroscopy techniques used to characterize materials and devices including several ultrafast laser systems.The department requires an Ultrafast Amplified Fibre Laser System, to be used to as a basis for an ultrafast time-resolved optical spectroscopy experiments. The main requirements from the amplified laser system include,1) User adjustable repetition rate, from 1-100Khz.2) Pulse power > 300µJ per pulse at >25Khz.3) Pulse length
