Descriptions
The broad objective of the project is to advance genomic prediction and genome-enabled breeding in cattle by generating novel functional genomics data from bovine alveolar macrophages (bAM) in vitro, using ChIP-seq and ATAC-seq technologies. These data will be integrated with other types of genome-wide data (e.g. genome-wide association study [GWAS]) using established methods for data integration.
