The Council is seeking to enter into a contract with a suitably qualified organisation for the provision of a short term housing related support service for young people aged 16 to 24. The service will be expected to provide support to young people who have housing related support needs. This is likely to include people who have one or more of the following issues: — Difficult or challenging behaviour-Substance misuse issues — A history of offending —Complex family histories It is possible that some of these individuals may also be care leavers, have dual diagnosis issues, a chaotic lifestyle or complex needs. The services to be procured fall within Part B of Schedule 3 to the Public Contract Regulations 2006 (the ‘Regulations’) and the Council does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to Part B Services.
