Descriptions
The MOONS (Multi-Objects Optical and Near-infrared Spectrograph for the VLT- Very Large Telescope) is a new concept for an astronomical spectrograph. This requirement is for the Camera Optics, a sub system of the Spectrograph instrument. The MOONS design consists of 2 identical cryogenic spectrographs. Each spectrograph incorporates 3 cameras. The requirement is to supply 6 completed cameras for the astronomical spectrograph.
