MOONS (Multi-Objects Optical and Near-infrared Spectrograph) is a new concept for an astronomical spectrograph for the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope (VLT). The MOONS project foresees the construction of two identical, cryogenic spectrographs fed by optical fibres. This requirement is for the coating, polishing and delivery of four dichroics that form part of the spectrographs. Please see attached for the full scope of works. The contract will be awarded based on the criteria set out on the sourcing documents.
