Construction work for military buildings and installations. Construction and Demolition work. A Contract for the design and construction of the Domestic Site at RMAS Yeovilton which is part of the redevelopment of the existing Military Air Station. The Domestic Site includes the following works;— A new Senior Rates Mess— A new PRTC complex— Sports Pavillion and MUGA's— Alterations to Medical and Dental centre.— Alterations to existing hardstandings (including car parks)The Contractor, will have sole responsibility for delivery of the contract and is required to manage and co-ordinate an integrated supply chain (including consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers) to perform all tasks necessary to achieve the requirements of the specification.In performance of the contract, the Principal Contractor will be required to interface with the Ministry of Defence's specialist advisers on issues such as security, health and safety, fire safety, environment/sustainability and Counter Terrorist Measures (CTM), existing MoD contractors and service providers, Local Planning Authority (including Highways) and occupants of the site.
