The Scottish Government has committed to undertake a comprehensive, national assessment of the health and social care needs of Scotland’s prison population, which will be delivered in a phased approach through several studies. This will help to ensure that ongoing efforts to integrate health and social care in prisons are informed by evidence and are person-centred. This tender is to assess the Physical Health in the Scottish Prison population.
