University Hospital Llandough (UHL) is an integral part of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and is located on Penlan Road, Llandough Cardiff. The Hospital was opened in 1933 and throughout the years, and in particular the last 15 years, has been considerably expanded to provide a range of Clinical Services you would associate with a District General Hospital. This has seen the incorporation of significant new units, transferring services from other hospitals (Rookwood and Whitchurch). The Hospital also provides undergraduate and post graduate training for a range of clinical staff. UHL in the second largest hospital in the Health Board, and provides a multitude of services, including Medical and Surgical Services, Stroke Rehabilitation, Spinal and Neurorehabilitation, Elective Surgery, Gerontology, Outpatients and Adult Mental Health. Currently, the Hospital has in excess of 30 wards and, 630 inpatient beds. The UHB is seeking expressions of interest from individual retailers would like to provide a retail convenience store to help meet the Health Board’s and the local community’s needs.
