The purpose of this questionnaire is to assist Urdd Gobaith Cymru in the process of selecting contractors to be shortlisted and invited to tender carry out the construction work for the Development and Improvements to Gwersyll yr Urdd, Glan-llyn, Llanuwchllyn, Bala.In order to further develop Glan-llyn and to meet the needs of visitors it is intended to relocate the main Kitchen and provide new Kitchen and Dining Facilities together with other repairs and modifications to the main building which are essential developments to improve conditions of work for employees and to improve the visitor experience.Development details:The developments can be split into four main parts, combined value is estimated at £395,000 excluding VAT:i) The relocation of the kitchen within the existing building structure. This will involve installing a new kitchen and all new necessary services.ii) Adaptations and improvements to the canteen.iii) Adaptations to the existing kitchen area to accommodate new uses.iv) Adaptations to the lower ground floor to form drying and changing areas.
