Using #PowertotheBump and EHRC's other pregnancy and maternity resources to sustainably reach the "target" audiences
Descriptions
The Equality and Human Rights Commission is a statutory body established under the Equality Act 2006 responsible for promoting and enforcing the laws that protect fairness, dignity and respect. It contributes to making and keeping Britain a fair society in which everyone, regardless of background, has an equal opportunity to fulfil their potential. The Commission enforces equality legislation on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation. It encourages compliance with the Human Rights Act 1998 and is accredited by the UN as an 'A status' National Human Rights Institution. The Commission's #PowertotheBump campaign is aimed at young women and highlights the pregnancy and maternity workplace rights that are important to a woman's health and wellbeing. This is the specification to amend the #PowertotheBump materials in ways that ensure the target audience(s) of young women, single mums and/or mums with a long term health condition, know their workplace rights, understand the importance of these rights to their health and wellbeing and have increased confidence to assert them.
