VCFS Infrastucture Development Contract 2025-2027

Descriptions

Newham Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced provider to lead the delivery of infrastructure services for the borough's Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS). The Council particularly welcomes proposals from progressive and suitably experienced organisations to deliver this two-year contract designed to build the sector's capacity, boost productivity, and ensure long-term sustainability. Newham's VCFS is one of the most vibrant and diverse in London, encompassing a wide range of organisations from well-established institutions to grassroots, volunteer-led groups and faith-based initiatives. The aim of this contract is to cultivate a sustainable, confident and resourceful VCFS-one that is equipped to meet the evolving needs and aspirations of both the sector and the borough. This includes: • Strengthening collaboration and shared learning; • Enhancing infrastructure and access to resources; • Supporting the delivery of trusted, culturally competent, and place-based services that improve outcomes for Newham residents. This is more than a service contract-it's a strategic opportunity to help shape a resilient, inclusive and community-powered future for Newham.
