Awarded

Video Consultation Services in Mid and South Essex

Descriptions

AccuRx Video Consultation software has been centrally contracted by NHS England and NHS Improvement on behalf of general practice. This agreement ends of 31 December 2021, with all practices required to ensure that adequate Video Consultation solutions are available for patients, as per the newly agreed GMS contract. AccuRx Video Consultation has been widely used and is generally well received within general practice. Mid and South Essex commissioners are undertaking a full procurement exercise via DFOCVC, with an expectation that suppliers will be invited to a Further Competition Off Catalogue procedure in December 2021/January 2022. Utilising the Direct Award mechanism via the framework will allow Mid and South Essex commissioners to ensure that continuity of service is provided to general practice in relation to video consultation solutions. The Direct Award to AccuRx for Video Consultation via DFOCVC will be used to create a short-term Call Off Agreement, whilst wider ranging procurement activity is undertaken via the Further Competition Off-Catalogue procedure.
