Visit Kent: Website Design, Development and CMS re-platforming
Descriptions
Visit Kent is one of the UK’s leading Destination Management Organisations (DMO). The company has helped to turn Kent tourism into a £3.4bn industry that supports more than 67,000 jobs. Kent welcomes more than 58 million visitors. Visit Kent is recognised by the two upper tier local authorities, Kent County Council and Medway Council, as well as the 12 district councils and the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). The current digital estate was launched in 2012/13. The websites are now dated and the content management system that delivers them is no longer fit for purpose. Visit Kent has a requirement to adopt a new CMS solution onto which its suite of websites can be re-platformed. The design and functionality of the sites will also be redeveloped so that they can meet the needs of users better. This project will commence at the start of October 2016, with phased delivery from February to March 2017. The budget is in the region of £50,000 this does not include hosting, support and maintenance.
