The Trustees of the Penllergare Trust wishes to appoint a team of consultants to design, develop and deliver the Phase 2 National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported project at Penllergare Valley Woods. The Woods are located in the Country Park and Gardens, on the A48 between Penllergare and Llangefelach.A previous scheme (Planning Permission Reference 2017/1260/FUL) placed the Visitor Centre in a different location but subsequent developments mean that the previous location is no longer suitable. As Client therefore the Trustees require a review of this scheme to ensure that the Visitor Centre fulfils its potential as a key element in securing sustainable income streams that will, in completion, support the on-going management and maintenance of the site.The Trustees need a Visitor Centre Design Team who will support them in achieving these objectives, through reviewing the plans and coming up with a new scheme, supporting procurement, undertaking regular reporting and attending project meetings, producing drawings, specifications, schedules of work, and overseeing their implementation through to RIBA 6 novated from RIBA 4-7to the successful Principal Contractor).
