Descriptions
Renfrewshire Council requires a competent and suitably qualified Service Provider to carry out maintenance for void house gardens in demolition blocks in the Howwood Road, Johnstone area. The location of void house gardens is at various addresses at; - Craigenfeoch Avenue, Johnstone - Dundonald Avenue, Johnstone - Greenend Avenue, Johnstone - Highcraig Avenue, Johnstone The Service Provider is required to provide the following service; 1)Initial Cut An Initial Cut/Clear is required as soon as possible after the commencement of the contract. Services required are as follows; - Ensure each site must be cleared of loose items prior to cutting the grass. - The Service Provider is required to cut the grass and any other vegetation with all cuttings arising to be lifted and removed from the site and disposed of in accordance with agreed waste removal legislation. - Adjacent paths and borders from the property shall be swept or blown to remove any remaining grass cuttings arising as part of the maintenance works in line with grounds maintenance operations. 2)Cyclical Cut The Cyclical Cuts/Clears are required on a two-weekly basis during the Spring/Summer months and monthly over the Autumn/Winter months as detailed below; - Spring/Summer months defined as; 1st April – 30th September inclusive - Autumn/Winter months defined as; 1st October – 31st March inclusive Services required are as for the Initial Cut/Clear and are as follows; - Ensure each site must be cleared of loose items prior to cutting the grass. - Ensure the grass is cut and any other vegetation with all cuttings arising to be lifted and removed from the site and disposed of in accordance with agreed waste removal legislation. - Adjacent paths and borders from the property shall be swept or blown to remove any remaining grass cuttings arising as part of the maintenance works in line with grounds maintenance operations. The Service Provider must ensure that the works are delivered safely in accordance with the relevant current Health and Safety and Environment Legislation and Regulations. Spend under this Contract for the full Contract duration shall not exceed 89,000 excluding VAT
