Volunteer Support Unit Breathing Apparatus Stowage Modifications.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) have a requirement to adapt the stowage configuration for the retention of Breathing Apparatus Sets (BA) on a number of Mercedes Vario Volunteer Support Units (VSU).There is a requirement for the removal of the BA Quick Release Frames from their current location within the Crew Cab of these vehicles and for them to be relocated and securely fitted in an appropriate location within the rear equipment lockers of the vehicles. This will also involve the re configuration of the stowage for any affected lockers to retain existing equipment displaced by the movement of the BA Frames.
