@Wales Digital Media was formed in 2000 in order to provide high levels of support to start-up digital media companies pan Wales.@Wales have created a world leading Digital Media Business Incubator at Saint Line House (SLH) , situated in Cardiff Bay.SLH has been designed as a ‘smart’ building, incorporating Access Control, Biometrics and CCTV in order to protect its clients 24/7, all of which come under the control of the IT department.SLH is flood wired with Cat5e having the ability to provide up to 1GB to the desktop. It also runs 2 wireless LANS, an encrypted internet connection for guests and a highly secure, 3 level authentication connection to the LAN for its clients.The aim of this contract will be to provide the incubated clients of @Wales with the correct level of IT support, in a timely manner, to allow them to build their business into a free-standing, viable company@Wales will require on site IT support for a total of 20 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00am to 1:00pm and Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm, dependant on the work schedule and/or requirements.The Contract will be for 18 months , but will be reviewed at 6 monthly intervals.
