The Walkways project focusses on those people who have or are in danger of being labelled as 'incapable of undertaking paid work'. the purpose of the project is to develop the tranistion opportunities for such people.Critical to achieving these aims will be the skill and knowledge level of the staff involved. It has been recognised by the project partner organisations that staff training is needed to enhance the organisational capability to satisfy the project aims.We are looking for the training to commence in July 2011, and be completed by 31st December 2013. In total there are 167 days delivery of which 72 days training will be in Wales and 95 in Ireland. We expect the training to be delivered in economical blocks e.g. For TSI( teaching Systematic instruction) a 4 or 5 day delivery package per course.A breakdown of the training package we are seeking is;TSI - 48 days YSEP and job coach support - 65 daysMeaningful day training - 12 daysSupported Employment and set up training - 28 days.Supported employment marketing training - 14 days.ffurther details are enclosed in the tender pack
