This is an award notice and as such this procurement process is now complete.Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) requires a Supplier who will provide a high quality waste management service, across all of its current locations, whilst offering best value in the expenditure of public funds. However, it should be noted that during the life of the Framework, HIE may wish to expand the services to include sites in other parts of the HIE area and/or offices may re-locate. In such circumstance, advance notice will be provided of any changes.The supplier will be able to demonstrate capability in the following areas and will work in partnership with HIE to deliver a waste management service that minimises the impact on the environment:1. Waste Collection;2. Waste Disposal & Recycling;3. Contract Management;4. Sustainability;5. Waste Strategy Compilation;6. Quality Control Processes7. Monitoring and Reporting Performance.This list is not exhaustive but provides the basis of the waste management service to be provided.
