The Council require the services of a consultant to undertake a feasibility study for a new waste transfer station within Dumbarton at the identified location of Polar Road. The purpose of this feasibility is to establish a clear plan to deliver best value for the Council considering service considerations and compatibility with the Council’s existing and possible future waste collection services in a compliant manner. The feasibility study should consider but not be limited to land use and locations, commercial sites, market considerations, fit with waste collection system, scalability, future waste developments (eg DRS), carbon reductions, costs, planning and licensing issues.
