The ASTUTE EAST operation at Swansea University seek tenders for a Waterjet Cutting Machine. The Waterjet Cutting Machine will be operated, used and administered by Swansea University and partly in the context of the ASTUTE EAST operation.The system is required to- Increase the capabilities of the workshop and permits a wide range of materials from tool steel to carbon fibre, composites, glass and more to be machined.- support research collaborations with companies as part of the ASTUTE EAST operation.It is envisaged that the Waterjet cutting machine will support industrial, collaborative research under ASTUTE EAST. The equipment will be located within the College of Engineering at the Bay Campus.
