The objectives of this engagement are1.To obtain a detailed hydrological assessment of the Bray Harbour and adjacent marine environment to determine the factors causing siltation of the harbour and the impact of waves entering the harbour particularly during strong north easterly winds on the secure and safe mooring of boats.2.To obtain a report outlining scheme options for mitigating storm impacts and siltation with whole of life costings, procurement options and scheme selection recommendation. Option selection shall have regard to but not limited to value for money, public service benefit, resilience to future demands and expected development around the harbour, safety, quality and the durability of construction work.3.To assess viability of providing further boat access along the north pier by an extended pontoon facility and the enhancement of leisure and recreational facilities around the harbour. Consideration to be given to the structural condition and serviceability of the existing harbour infrastructure and assess the need for improved paving and the reclamation of part of the shoreline to provide improved public amenity. .4.To obtain a report on the viability of providing a secure berth for a passenger ferry at Bray Harbour, detailing its relationship of objective 2 and additional costings if considered viable.5.The preparation of scheme drawings and tender documents for approved scheme.6.To obtain necessary Foreshore Licence and other statutory consents to enable recommended works to be carried out.Other deliverables will include:•an environmental scoping study; •all legal statutory consents and licenses for the scheme•the updating of mapping with all pertinent information
