The aim of the procurement process is to establish a Non Exclusive framework agreement for bespoke stand-alone weather stations with data loggers.Each weather station should be equipped with appropriate sensors to measure the following features: Air Temperature and Relative Humidity, Wind Speed and Wind Direction and Solar Radiation. A pole with appropriate brackets, cross-arms and clamps should be included. All sensors should have 15 meter long cables to allow flexible positioning for both the weather station and the data-logger. The station should come complete with appropriate solar panel to provide solar charging for the internal battery/power supply.The integrated data-logger is to consist of a weatherproof enclosure with appropriate mounting kit which contains the data-logger, power supply with rechargeable batteries with the ability to be charged from grid and/or the solar panel. The logger should have sufficient channels to allow the addition of more instrumentation/expansion units in the future. A 3G/GPRS modem kit to be installed in the enclosure ready to hold a standard SIM card. The system should be supplied pre-programmed and with wiring instructions for simple installation and use.
