The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is responsible for the totality of Policing across Dyfed Powys. His strategic objectives and priorities are set out in his Police and Crime Plan. As the voice of the public on policing and crime matters he is now looking to further develop a website that facilitates effective two way communication.Key Objectives:The website needs to:-Explain and promote the work of the PCC and his office (OPCC) to different audiences.-Gather public opinion.-Offer advice and guidance to those coming into contact with the criminal justice system – especially victims of crime.-Highlight opportunities for partner agencies to work collaboratively with the OPCC.-Be attractive on, and responsive to, all digital devices from smartphone to PC.-Be simple for the public to navigate and use, having high accessibility standards.-Be simple for OPCC staff to update, manage and analyse on a daily basis using a CMS.-Be secure-Be searchable and bilingual (Welsh/English)-Carry much of the information published on our existing site-Have your ongoing technical support-Accept new design elements on a regular basisInnovation and fresh thinking are most welcome in structural and visual terms as we endeavour to make complex matters easy to comprehend. In addition to the above there may be an opportunity for develop linkages/synergies with the Dyfed Powys Police website.
