Website Development Services - The Children’s Rights Alliance is inviting tenders to develop a new website that improves its design, functionality and ability to market the organisation to its target audiences.

Descriptions

The Children’s Rights Alliance is inviting tenders to develop a new website that improves its design, functionality and ability to market the organisation to its target audiences. We are in the process of updating our strategic plan, and we have identified the need to update our website so that it aligns with our ambitions for the coming years, and adequately demonstrates the impact we make as an organisation. We want a brand-new website that can offer new ways to communicate who we are, and what we do, while offering an intuitive system for our members and other stakeholders to easily find what they are looking for: be they our services, resources or information on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). In terms of the back-end, it needs to be sufficiently straightforward to manage, as we are keen that all updating etc. is able to be done in-house. This tender must therefore include an element of website management training for Alliance staff. ContextOur current Drupal-CMS website (www.childrensrights.ie) has served the Alliance for the past 10 years, and it is now time to embark on a new journey as the organisation adopts a new strategic plan for 2022-2024. The Alliance will need to work at its full potential to facilitate these ambitions, which is why we now need a website that works much harder for us. This includes helping the organisation sustain itself by appealing to a wider target audience, such as the public and potential donors. An established brand is already in place, and the successful supplier will be provided withcomprehensive brand guidelines, including colour palette, illustrations, logo andypography, to construct an on-brand, dynamic website. The Alliance currently has an in-house communications team, which oversees the Alliance’s brand and marketing, including publications and website. This project will be led by communications consultant Carys Mair Thomas.
