Descriptions
Kent County Council (KCC) wishes to inform the market of its intention to extend Lot 1 and Lot 2 of the Wellbeing Services in the Community contracts for a maximum period of 12 months, with a variation to reduce the scope.
These extensions will commence on 01 April 2026 and run through to 31 March 2027.
At the same time, KCC is in the early stages of reprocuring wellbeing services, which will involve market and stakeholder engagement to shape the future service model. This approach ensures continuity of provision while allowing sufficient time to develop a modern, integrated wellbeing offer that meets the needs of Kent residents.
The Wellbeing Services in the Community contracts are commissioned services which aim to help people take a proactive approach to their health and wellbeing, increase independence, and prevent, reduce or delay the need for additional care and support services. These services are part of Kent County Council's (KCC) broader approach to preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support.
