West of Scotland Housing association was founded in 1965 and currently has over 3 200 properties located within west central Scotland. West of Scotland Housing Association are seeking to enter into a contact with a suitably experienced contractor who can supply them with a service for all open space grounds maintenance from 2016 to 2019, with possible annual extensions (up to a maximum of 2 additional years) subject to satisfactory performance.The Sites:The sites are distributed across the following regions as summarised below:Ayrshire — 16nr sites;Glasgow — 16nr sites;Glasgow East — 13nr sites;Lanarkshire — 39nr sites.Planned Open Space Maintenance Works and Reactive Repair Works:The works required include:Grass cutting;Shrub bed and shrub maintenance;Hedge bed and hedge maintenance;Weed-killing;Tree maintenance;De-littering.Reactive repair works as required from time-to-time over the course of the contract.
