The current service is one part of the contract held by Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust covering the provision of NHS111 across the Yorkshire and Humber area including Bassetlaw. The contract provides for the sub-contracted provision of Out of Hours primary medical services on behalf of the CCGs across West Yorkshire currently provided by Local Care Direct. This contract runs until 31.3.2019.This notice is to advise of the Commissioners’ intention to seek agreement through dialogue with Local Care Direct CIC to continue the provision of service by way of a contract of 12 months duration from the end of the current contract. The extension of service period is to allow the Commissioners’ to develop a comprehensive model that will complement the 24/7 Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service currently being commissioned by CCGs.
