Transport for London (TfL) and London River Services Ltd (LRSL) are seeking interest and feedback from the market for an exciting opportunity to operate a service from one of the piers they operate. An opportunity has arisen for a new service to operate from the V-berth at Westminster Pier with the use of a waiting room on the main pontoon and as such, TfL extends the RFQ opportunity to any operator wishing to operate a passenger service from the berth for a fixed term licence duration. This notice is asking for interest in offering a proposal to secure the licence to operate a passenger service at this location.Westminster Pier is located on the north bank of the River Thames, in close proximity to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. The Tenderer is offered the opportunity to operate a passenger service from the V-berth (the berth) at Westminster Pier. In association with the passenger operation, the tenderer is also offered the opportunity to make use of an existing waiting room situated on the pontoon. The opportunity to make use of the waiting room is conditional to a passenger service being operated from the V-berth. The Tenderer is required to ensure that all relevant licenses and permits are obtained prior to the contract start date and for the duration of the contract.
