The aim of this procurement process is to establish feasibility study for the Well-Informed Design Research and Education in the Built Environment (WIDER-BE) project for the Welsh School of Architecture (ARCHI), within Cardiff University.There is an aspiration to expand the School on a single site as a Centre for WIDER-BE. Bute building also currently houses the School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies (JOMEC). JOMEC will be relocating to a new building in September 2018 leaving space available for ARCHI to expand, the works will ideally start as soon as possible following this date to avoid space standing empty. This tender is for a feasibility study to be undertaken which will report and outline the recommended works for each of the Options identified within the briefing document attached to the tender documents at (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/cardiffuniversity/aspx/Home).
