Winchester Sport and Leisure Centre — Leisure Management Contract

Winchester City Council has procured an experienced leisure operator for its 15 year leisure management contract to operate the new Winchester Sport and Leisure Centre. This state of the art, wet and dry centre located at Bar End, Winchester will replace River Park Leisure Centre, a facility which has reached the end of its intended life.The new centre will comprise of the following facilities:— 8 lane x 50 m main swimming pool,— 20 m x 10 m learner pool,— hydrotherapy pool,— splash pad,— 200-station health and fitness suite,— spinning studio,— 8-court sports hall,— 4 squash courts,— 2 activity studios,— clip and climb,— 8 treatment rooms,— café.The contract will also include the adjacent Winchester Sports Stadium, which is home to a 400 m, 8-lane synthetic athletics track, 100 m x 60 m artificial grass pitch and a clubhouse.
