Window Replacement - The replacement of external windows at Glenbrohane National School
Descriptions
The removal and replacement of 2 no. window panels approximately 7.5m long by 2.6m high to 3 no. classrooms (6 window panels in total). New windows to be double glazed aluminium with the bottom third to be a 50mm insulated panel. The removal of 1 no. window approximately 3.6m long by 1m high window to staff room and also the removal of existing stud partition under and replace with new double glazed aluminium window with the bottom two thirds to be a 50mm insulated panel.Tenderers must sign the "DoES Suitability Declaration for Small Works" (which is attached to the Contract Notice), and if requested to do so must provide the necessary evidence of compliance stated in that document within 7 days, including evidence of annual turnover greater than 1.5 times the sum tendered and H&S competence.The contract is intended to be awarded to a single main contractor. If a group of contractors apply as a group or joint venture and are successful, either a lead contractor must be nominated who will be responsible for providing the service or a Joint Venture must be formed with whom the Awarding Authority will sign the contract.
