Wireless Temperature Monitoring system - required for UKAS Accreditation

Cwm Taf University Health board is looking to procure a wireless temperature monitoring system for the pathology laboratories and services. There is a requirement to provide temperature monitoring for standard equipment e.g. fridges, freezers and incubators as well as ambient air in both pathology laboratories situated within the Royal Glamorgan in Llanstrisant and Prince Charles Hospitals in Merthyr Tydfil. In addition there is a requirement to monitor certain fridges on some wards and theatres. Monitoring of both mortuaries and three other body stores in outlying hospitals with the Cwm Taf remit will also form part of this procurement.The overall system provided must be calibrated to UKAS standards throughout and certification provided to confirm this.The system will be able to display instant availability of each probe temperature as well as create historical records.
